Kroger Bakery - New Haven

Not only is the place busy never stocked and no lanes opened tonight at the gas station all lanes we’re full debit card on machines were down and the one person workin was on “break” sitting right there and refused to help anyone with 6 ppl in line trying to get help!! Worst Kroger ever!!!!

After partying at the bar all night I stopped at this store to pick up the few items my mother needed. Both the self check out and all the workers were very rude. I stood at the self check out after paying and waiting 15 god damn f minutes for it to process after the attendant kept walking by and didn't see if help was needed I flagged down a manager and reported my issue she claimed I didn't finish the self check out process and said I didn't know what I was doing. Needless to say I only ever shop at Walmart from 3-5 am when only the self check out is working so I have a good idea I know what I'm doing. Very **** poor Customer service

The store itself is fine, but I'm not too sure about a certain cash register. Isabella was my cashier. I came to her lead and she had her first back to me to talk to her friends, the excavators I think. She wouldn't have known I was there that one of her mates wouldn't tell me. She barely said hi and talked to her friends while she was scanning my stuff, with her back to me. I'm not saying that she has to have a full conversation with me, but it would be a little polite and professional to say hello, how are you, have you a Kroger card? And I don't know, maybe you really acknowledge the client and don't talk to your friends all the time as if I wasn't there?

Do not use the pharmacy. The pharmacist looks like she's doing you a favor, she always looks overwhelmed. If you don't feel good, it's just wrong! They claim that they never get a script sent to them to fill it, says the doctor, but we sent it! Go to CVS.

The store is clean, which is the only positive thing I can say about it. There is very little selection, and it's difficult to find items due to the disorganized layout. Prices are extremely high! I was unable to purchase a $5 bottle of wine because I didn't have my ID on me. For the record, I'm a 54-year-old grandmother of six and clearly look my age with my gray hair! While I understand and support the importance of preventing underage drinking, this policy felt excessive. Additionally, the cashier made it very clear that he didn’t care whether or not I could complete my purchase. I would not recommend shopping here; instead, go to another store or, better yet, Walmart, where you’ll find better prices.
