Feedback gevenI just left from the Mother’s Day brunch with my mom. We reserved an early spot, and there was only one other couple there the whole time we dined. We arrived first, sat first, and ordered our food first. However, the other couple received both of their meals first, and my mom and I didn’t start receiving ours for about 20-25 minutes. We didn’t get them at the same time, either. My mother got her main plate, and I was still waiting a while for mine to arrive. Our sides came out separately as well (after we were almost halfway done with the main). The staff took pictures of the other couple and engaged them in conversation, but my mom and I felt kind of neglected. The owner walked right past us, twice, and spoke at length with the couple. We were sitting right next to them, but she didn’t bother to say anything to us at all; she had her back to us the whole time. When you operate a restaurant, food and customer service go hand in hand. That’s why there’s a FOH and BOH. If my mother hand the said good bye to everyone in the restaurant, the owner wouldn’t have even turned to speak. Good food, poor service. I’m only giving the “service” 3-stars because our server, Shantay, was a delight.
Food is good but like everything else these days....expensive. Better off cooking at home. Two large sides of chitterlings ran me $53.Food: 4/5
