Feedback gevenMy partner and I stopped for lunch this week. We haven't been there since the pandemic hit, and even then never had a chance to try their take-out – we just love a few of their commercial finished products (the chips especially... yummm)! When we arrived earlier this week, I ordered a mocha and a ranch wrap (from the daily lunch menu). Both were absolutely delicious!! We had to come back the next time we met for lunch. This time I had the southern chicken sandwich, which was also very good. Can not wait to try more from the menu, and cannot recommend this place enough. There is also a fabulous curated selection of goods, both their own and other from large suppliers. Not cheap, but I trust the taste. I could easily see that I was inspired by one of these days to splash for the right recipe or in the name of a good old kitchen experiment.
Jamie Hollander recently celebrated our wedding. Kate Conway, Director of Sales Event Planning at Jamie Hollander, is incredible. I'm still getting torn when I talk to my guests and family about how amazing Kate is in her job. Kate treated the chaos that is a natural part of a wedding day with such grace and competence that I was very simple for Kate. She made everything in a timely and seamless fashion. When we had some real wedding challenges, our shuttle canceled in a secure shuttle within minutes at night before Kate. Her team showed up in good spirits, with smiles on her faces, superior friendliness with our guests, total professionalism and humor. Not to mention the food. The cocktail hour and dinner food was over and over delicious. All our guests were satisfied.
I think they make a big mistake from the retail business. Catering is not as reliable as their regular customers run through the door every day. Your regular customers are passionate about the place. The individuals who are at a well maintained event will probably not remember or even know where to eat. The individual customers who went through the door will be made a conscious decision to shop there. You will lose some good loyal customers! I wish them luck.
Giving them five stars as their retail store was the best. It’s a shame that they closed it. I noticed over the past couple months they brought in new management and a bunch of new faces. Not saying that’s a bad thing but I could tell things were changing. It was definitely a great spot for lunch. Wish them the best in their catering business but I think they made a mistake.
I used JH for a wedding rehearsal dinner. My guests could not stop talking about the quality of the food. I found the JH team friendly, competent and attentive. Also, a really good value for the .
