The last two times that I visited this location were awful. The first time the staff were arguing with one another about who would make my meal, my entire party got their orders wrong and by the time I had gotten my food, some of my party were done eating. On top of that, the cook didn’t seem to care that the entire restaurant was complaining. The second time, the lady who took my order was half awake (mid afternoon) and seemed like she was on drugs, and I ordered a two egg breakfast and an all star with no eggs. She gave me a two egg breakfast with a waffle and no toast or bacon. The order was completely wrong and when I made it known it was wrong and some was missing and asked for a refund, the lady instead blamed ME for my order being wrong, saying she gave me what I asked for, even though the receipt stated exactly what I asked for perfectly and they charged me for it. Safe to say I’ll just go to a different location the next time I want Waffle House.
Waffle House is never going to win an award for culinary expertise. They should, however, just for their grits. As far as I'm concerned, I cannot go wrong with a side of grits with my meal. I've given this a 3/5 because of the grits. The rest of the food is honest, decent, Southern favorites. The sausage patties are good, never dry, city ham is a nice size (country ham is pure sodium) and bacon is decent too. The sad thing about Waffle House is, in my experience, the cooks can't cook an over easy egg to save their collective a55es. No matter where I go, I'll order over medium as a CYA. More often than not I'll get the over easy I really want.
Didn't get our till we were about done eating...had to ask for
I don’t think I’ll be going to this Waffle House anymore my bacon wasn’t cooked at all my grits are
