Bulldog Ale House - New Lenox

Every time we order or visit this restaurant, my wife always hopes that this time her dish will be better, but it never is. Every time we pay $16 for a piece of chicken that comes with all these toppings we didn't ask for, and the taste is just off. We even mentioned our bad experiences to the waitress, but it seems like nothing changes. I wouldn't recommend coming here for dinner, just a fair warning. They do offer a $2 discount for online orders though.

My husband and I had a lovely night going out to dinner at this restaurant it was our first time there and the waiter very friendly. He even offered us recommendations for drinks. We do not get to go out much. He suggested the gray goose Cosmo and it was just what I needed after a hard week. I ordered the ale house burger and it was cooked to perfection. I love ordering a medium rare burger and it coming out medium rare. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to other people looking for a nice casual night out.

The food was on point and the atmosphere is top notch. Will definitely be coming back for a again they have a nice selection beer

My first visit was not impressed. Ordered a burger and the edges of the pretzel bun was charred and continued thru the hamburger patty. The fries were cold.

The Brussels sprouts were delicious, we devoured them before anyone could snap a picture. The clubhouse sandwich and enchilada soup were both very good. The hot sauce on the chicken didn't impress us, but the waffles were decent. The avocado toast was also fantastic. Our server Zach did a great job, checking on us regularly without us having to ask for water refills. Unfortunately, the new manager Alex was rude and never checked on our table, displaying a negative demeanor and poor treatment towards the staff. Thankfully, the rest of the staff was good, but because of the manager, I hesitate to return to this restaurant.
