Potbelly Sandwich Shop - New Lenox

This place is fantastic! I’ve been enjoying their grilled chicken clicks 21 times a week for the past few years. I have breakfast, lunch, and dinner here every day. I prefer to take my meals to go, especially with COVID-19 still lingering and no end in sight. Eating indoors is just not for me right now.

I had an incredible evening! The service during checkout was really delightful. However, the highlight was definitely my pizza sandwich—it was so good that I found myself dancing with joy! I nearly gave up on Potbelly, but this experience has restored my faith in it!

The girl with glasses and cute tattoos is always really friendly. My sister has special needs and gets excited when she speaks for herself, which can make the ordering process take a bit longer. However, this employee is always incredibly patient. She addresses my sister directly instead of speaking to me or my dad, which really speaks volumes about her character! So kind and sweet!

Food was really good, especially the Oreo shake. The service was somewhat strange and was difficult to understand the ordering process. All employees have headsets and you are not sure whether they talk to you or on the headset or what is going on. For the first few minutes it was hard to get even contact to get their attention. It's just like they don't have a manager or someone who runs the show.
