Kathy's Home Cooking Cafe - NEW MARKET

Went here in 2019. Not going to lie it was scary going in at first due to all the “memorabilia” that was around... we did get strange looks at first but from the other customers not the workers. Put all that aside, the service was amazing! 10/10 really nice and friendly. The food... OMG coming from a city person perspective, all the food was incredible. Not one thing wrong and the prices were great as well. This is a place that from a far looks a bit scary to poc but my friends and I were open minded to go here because we were going for food and not “politics”. I suggest everyone who can go here, to give this place a try. Food is incredible! We all love to eat right?

Very homey, quaint. Delicious home cooking. Very reasonably priced. Parked right out front, sat ourselves and enjoyed an excellent meal. Friendly staff, menu on the wall. Apple cobbler with ice cream scoop is a must.

The Hillbilly burger Club Sub were delicious! So good we back a second during our visit to New Market. The waitress was very nice service was exceptional. I highly recommend Kathy's!

Small (10 table cafe if I remember correctly) but cozy well worth it! The food was delicious not expensive.

We loved the atmosphere here! Very laid back and cozy. The food isn’t spectacular but it is good. It’s a good mom pop backbone of America local business!
