Miller Grille - NEW MARKET

This place is quite average for a restaurant located at a golf course. It really could use a renovation and a refreshed menu. The service was good, though. If you're just stopping by for a beer or something casual, it's probably decent enough.

The service was outstanding. The waitress was incredibly polite and helpful; she spoke to me as if we were old friends, which is refreshing compared to how I've felt at other places. I had a great experience overall. I can't recall her name, but if I could, I would definitely recommend her for "Waitress of the Month" or a raise!

This place was horrible from the time we walked in. The place was not very busy. The girl behind the bar greeted us with blatant annoyance and said with a sigh, “just find a seat and someone will be with you, I guess”. My husband, me, and our friends-another couple just looked at each other with surprise after she said that. We sat down at a high top right next to the bar. I had to get up and get menus for us after about 10 minutes of waiting for a server to come over and acknowledge us. That bartender who was visibly just miserable finally came over to take our drink order. Came back with our beverages and threw straws on the table and took our food order. I got a Reuben- I took a bite and it tasted funny. I lifted the bread and the corned beef was dark brow with tiny spots of the normal pinkish color it’s supposed to be. That meat was spoiled. The bartender did not ask if everything was ok and I was not going to even approach her about it. My husband gave me half of his fish sandwich. The funny thing is it looks like someone else who gave a review had ordered a Reuben and stated they had food poison from it- perhaps this place should pay attention to the expiration dates and rotate their inventory. Bad vibes, bad food, miserable service, terrible place. (It takes a lot for me to give a bad review! I like to find the silver lining- there is none here.

Amazing food and great service! Reasonably priced too!

My family and I ate at Miller's Grill tonight May 25. We choose this restaurant because when we were visiting the area last twar we choose this restaurant. We remembered the good food and service so we went again. The food was mediocre. Nothing close to our last visit. The service was worse. Our waitress who seemed attentive at first became a scare commodity. One of our orders were wrong and after bringing it to her attention, we were told the order would arrive soon. We all finished our meals and never saw the waitress with the order correction. Although she lingered at another table chit chatting. Once done, my daughter and myself left and went to the car leaving my husband to pay. It took another 10-15 mins for her to acknowledge him( she was chatting at the other table), and to remember she sill hadn't brought out his missing order. She basically left him sitting there without checking on his order, checking on him, or bringing the check.Sorry to say we will not be back when visiting again.
