Their breakfast is amazing. So is their red beans and rice and beignets. They close at 2 but you can still order food from the bar/lobby area or in the pantry.
The fish tacos were fresh and had the right amount of spice. The gumbo was tasty, but very thin with only a few bits of meat in it. The service was underwhelming. The greeter acted irritated that she had to get off her phone to seat us. Our server was ok, but very slow to get my husband his beer. It arrived at our table right after we got our food.
Not recommended for the price. Food was average. Pancakes were hard. The staff was unpleasant. Hostess without a smile. For the amount you pay, I would expect better service. You can go across the street at Fogo de Cao or Creole House pretty much next door. Similar prices and better food service.
Over priced, bad coffee, and poor quality food. This is clearly a no go place. It convient for guests of the hotel and that's about it.
