Great place for breakfast if you’re in City Park or heading to the NOMA! Especially if you have kids (you can feed the turtles!

I ordered the chicken sandwich, it was delicious. the chicken was fresh and juicy with a hint of sweetness. the bread was soft. however, i wasn’t expecting it to be on a few rolls. you definitely get a lot of chicken. very filling. my honey had gotten the gumbo, it wasn’t the traditional gumbo we are use to eating . the roux is extremely thick and more like brown gravy with a smoky flavor. there’s quite a selective resonance prices menu though. they also serve alcohol and coffee. the staff is also extremely nice welcoming! i would deffff reccccc this place for a quick bite to eat with a beatific view. they also have outside seating. i gave it a 4 star bc of the gumbo.

Definitely eat here, don't worry about finding someplace else for lunch when you're kids just want to get back to playing. The food is great, top notch and reasonably priced. Loved the blackened shrimp tacos, sweet potato tots, chicken sandwich and brussel sprouts. It was amazing.

Pretty good food and happy to have such an option next to the children’s museum. The lady who takes your order is consistently rude (5+ times) to the point we don’t dine here much anymore. She goes out of her way to make it difficult to apply your membership discount or rewards (many people don’t have actual IDs to get into the museum but she gives a very hard time or forbids the membership rate when you try to look up an email confirmation or other method to “prove” you are a member). The food is a bit bland (even the adult selections) but maybe it’s by design to appeal to kids. Glad to have a Brennan restaurant offering and appreciate most of the hardworking staff.
