Cajun Seafood - New Orleans

I visited New Orleans for the first time and had the pleasure of dining at Cajun Seafood. Without a doubt, it's home to the best gumbo I’ve had in the city. After trying several other places, I can confidently say that this restaurant raises the standard. The gumbo was incredibly flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. It was packed with a generous portion of chicken, sausage, and crab, making the taste absolutely outstanding. I highly recommend checking out this spot before trying anywhere else—you won’t regret it!

The small Po Boy sandwich is impressive—it's as long as your forearm, and they offer even larger options! The restaurant is very clean, and they have fresh crab available by the piece, along with an abundance of shrimp. The local menu features delicious dishes that I would definitely come back for. The fresh bread was particularly tasty in my opinion. It's a great spot for families, although parking out front is limited. There is ample seating inside. As first-time visitors to the city, I'm not sure what their signature dish is, but our Po Boys were fantastic! The onion rings are huge, about the size of your palm, made with thick, juicy slices of real onions. You really can’t go wrong with anything you order here!

I ordered the boiled snow crab with spicy garlic butter. As soon as I sat down, I dove right in and completely forgot to take a picture—oops! It was incredibly delicious and packed with flavor. The crab was cooked to perfection—not mushy at all. My partner ordered the fish and shrimp plate, and he said it was really good as well.

Awesome spot for some seafood boil. Crawfish, snow crab, dungeoness crab, shrimp, sausages were great. The one thing I didn’t like was the corn the pieces were really soggy and felt like they were previously frozen. Wear a bib, it’ll get messy

LOVE this place. I stop by everything time I come to NOLA. No frills plain interior with GREAT food. They sell all types of crabs and a variety of seafood along with other food varieties.
