Chiba - New Orleans

Excellent food and outstanding customer service. Every dish I tried was delicious. My top favorites were definitely the St. Charles roll, tuna nachos, and octopus ceviche. I will definitely be returning!

A must-visit! Chiba brings a unique New Orleans twist to Japanese cuisine, featuring items like a sake-inspired martini and an incredible octopus ceviche with Cajun spices. I've traveled across the country tasting sushi, and Chiba definitely serves some of the best specialty rolls I've encountered. Don't forget to order a side of eel sauce—it's a fantastic addition!

Chiba is a great and comfortable atmosphere for any party size. I had a group of 10 guys for a bachelor party and we were well taken care of by the staff. They were very patient with our group and took care of all our needs. I highly recommend ordering the King Cake (ask about it when making your reservation, as it takes time to prep), it was absolutely amazing and everyone loved it. Ingredients are very fresh and the food is remarkable. Can't wait to go back!

Every time I travel down to New Orleans (usually a few times a year), I make a habit of stopping into Chiba for dinner. I love to sit at the bar and chat with the staff and have them make food and drink suggestions. I have never been disappointed in what I've ordered. The sushi is so fresh! And the bartender and wait staff are always friendly and welcoming. I like the neighborhood vibe and I can't wait to go there again.
