However, the hostess informed me that they don’t accept reservations, even though I had made one online. You order at the counter, and they have a full bar with frozen drinks. It's a family-friendly place, with plenty of young kids around. Overall, it’s a casual and laid-back dining experience.
The food was good, but the drinks were disappointing. Reservations aren't required or accepted, so making a booking in advance didn't really help. It was a bit pricey for what is essentially a fancy hot dog. We won't be considering this place on our next visit.
We ordered the tater tots with crawfish étouffée on top, but when our order arrived, there was no étouffée in sight. I approached the same rude staff member to inquire, and he claimed, "That's it." As someone from New Orleans, I can confidently say that what was served was not étouffée—it was just tomatoes and sour cream. He insisted the étouffée was underneath, but it definitely wasn’t there. Despite the terrible attitude, I found the hotdogs to be quite good, and the duck special—though not on the menu—was delicious and a clear favorite among my group. Everyone else we interacted with, aside from the bartender/cashier, was very pleasant. An attitude like his is not conducive to a city that prides itself on exceptional hospitality, especially during these challenging COVID times.
