Desire Oyster - New Orleans

Delicious food! the service was somewhat slow in the night when we were there, but they seemed underoccupied and everyone was very friendly. the hurrikan was the best I tasted in nola (the bartender has a heavy pouring.) eating tasted fresh. we were all very satisfied with our bourbon street experience.

We tried both the oysters on the half shell and the sharply grilled oysters. they were both fantastic. we just want to go back for it. the escaped were also good, but it is definitiv the oysters who reconcile the people.

I don't usually eat out. my man loves utter! we came to desire because the place we wanted, oceana grill, was too packed to come in. thanks for being too busy for us are oceana! we had the chargrille oysters and jambalaya. I love jambalaya and I honestly can't tell them what was best. they were both amazing and our waitress, acacia, was amazing! we will be back for more!

Absolutely the best char broiled oysters in all of New Orleans. Host and wait staff very friendly and in tune with their patrons needs. If you haven’t tried desire oyster bar what are you waiting for?

While enjoying drinks at the bar next door to here (Le Booze) we asked the bartender for a recommendation last minute on a Friday. He said you can’t go wrong with Desire .. so that’s what we did. Service from start to finish was amazing — only sorry I didn’t catch anyone’s. name. Food was delicious!! (Although the fresh oysters after being shucked had slivers of the shell left inside which we probably could have done without) Having said that — everything else made up for that! Service, food, price — definitely recommend!
