Ihop - New Orleans

Horrible service from waitress. Came to table only twice, once was to take the order and the other was to give the bill. Never even given a name. I doubt the owner or person in charge even cares. I just wrote this review for others to know what they are getting and what to expect from here. I was given a dirty cup that was dirty on the outside. The bathroom is dirty, spots all over the sink. The workers here are just plain lazy. This is my first time visiting and it’ll be my last. I’m surprised that place is even open. Smh eat here at your own risk.

First of all, this is IHOP. We should know what to expect and those expectations should be met. That being said, I didn't like the smell. It almost smelled like what Wendy's with carpet smells like. The waitress left us to our own devices for a while. We waited a while for the check and to go containers. We weren't told how it was done, so we also sat a while waiting to see if she'd pick the check up. We finally got up and she met us in the front.The parking lot is the worst. It's not clearly marked where IHOP customers can park. The grass and bushes were unkempt, making this IHOP seem even worse. This one is ok in a pinch.

It says open 24 hours but tonight, a Saturday night, mind you, it was closed although the door was unlocked. I pulled in due to a flat tire and with an hour 's wait for AAA, I was going to dine in but when I walked in an employee sitting across the room just said closed . I pulled in at approximately 12:50 a.m. although it was a bit later before I went in. While I waited for AAA several people pulled up to eat but we 're turned away finally about an hour later the door was locked. So, what 's up with that?I work for a band who plays some gigs at Rock N Bowl who closes at midnight. IHOP is a preferred late night dining establishment and is so handy to Rock N Bowl but we keep hearing that they 're never open when we would be going! Bad for business in my opinion.
