Kingfish New Orleans

Ate there tonight. Without a doubt our best meal in New Orleans! The fish, red beans with rice-fried chicken-sausage and the duck gumbo were all equally amazing! Our server Carlos was fantastic and the small hostess with the braces was super friendly. Thank you for an excellent dining experience!

Fantastic experience here. My husband and I were strolling around the French Quarter and decided to go here. We went early and on a Monday so it wasn?t busy. The staff were incredible. Our server, Tessa I believe was her name, was probably one of the best servers we?ve ever had. Very soft spoken, knew the dishes well, made great recommendations, checked in just enough, no small talk but was friendly.. she was just so good. Our drinks stayed filled. Atmosphere was perfect andgreat music. Now; the food! We ordered the crawfish bread as an appetizer and oh my goodness.. YUM! My husband got the Red Beans and Rice with chicken and I got the BBQ scallop fettuccine. We shared dishes and each one was just delicious. Iwould definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting NOLA. Great establishment.

Had lunch with friends here today, the service and the food were fantastic, the manager came by our table several times to check on us, when I'm sure he was busy, thank you Derrick for a very pleasant experience, we'll be back.

What an absolute abomination this place is. Had a reservation for 19:30. We were told by a young girl that our table would be delayed for 10-15 minutes, so we asked to wait at the bar and we are told that the bar was secured. First excuse of laziness from this person as went over the bar and were served immediately tenderly by the friendly bar. After 25 minutes waiting, we asked the girl who welcomed us if our table could be ready to surprise us, she totally ignored us to welcome other guests. Our table was then offered to another couple who came after us. The same girl swarmed around the restaurant and literally did nothing. I am astonished that their employees have not called them to their laziness and inability. 50 minutes after our reservation in the restaurant and ignored by this person on another two occasions, we were offered to dine at the dirty bar. So we left. This place looked like it would be great, but the service and hospitality was nothing less shameful and they just didn't deserve our money or the money of one of the other poor dunes who had ugly waited for their hands. Many cool places to dine in NOLA is my advice to ignore them.
