Markell Mkm Creations - New Orleans

The food is amazing, I will start by saying that. However, they are very unprofessional and inconsistent. This past Sunday, 1/7/24, I went to the Algiers location not knowing they were closed because the hours aren’t posted anywhere accurately. I really wanted a breakfast plate so I sucked it up and drove to the Uptown location. When I called, I was told they weee opening up at 11am. Okay, that’s fine. Even though Google says they opened at 9am and the door says 10am. When I got there at 11am, the door was still locked and I was told they never opening at 11:30am. Okay, whatever. I patiently waited for 11:30am only to get to the door again around 11:35am and they still weren’t open. As I was sitting, waiting, at least 4 other customers came to the door and turned around because they still weren’t open. I tried my best to support this business but that was really unacceptable.

My friend and I went for breakfast this morning 11/11/23. The guy working wasn’t friendly at all I felt my business wasn’t wanted. My friend placed his order and paid and the guy immediately went to the back and prepared my friend’s food without taking my order. (We came in together) I waited 10 minutes later to place my order and then had to ask him if I could place mine after him taking the guy order behind me first. I wanted to order more food but once he put my order in the register he walked away and I couldn’t finish. Once he finished my food he sat it on the counter and started to walk back to the kitchen. My friend has to tell me that my food was on the counter. Because I was so turned off with the service received I threw the food in the trash and went down the street and got breakfast elsewhere.

Every time I come to Nola I come to MKM. But today I was very disappointed. I tried to call and place my order and no one answered. When i went to order it looked like they only had one worker taking orders AND making the food. I asked for the surf and turf wrap and he told me they didn’t have it . So i ordered the 10 pc buffalo wings and fries. The fries was half cooked and the wings was ok. Maybe I caught them on the wrong day because other times I’ve came the food was so good.

I thought i was going to Jazzy Wings but they are no longer there. To my surprise MKM hIt the spot. The Bourbon and Hot wings with fires were on point. I will visit again when i go back to NOLA.

The food was not definitely made to order. They really do have good food. But today I definitely disappointed and they literally didn’t put in what I ordered on my plate. I had to notified them plus my food was cold.
