However, I would not recommend the Gumbo. It was too spicy, thick, and lacked flavor. It tasted like reheated beans. But overall, thank you to Kiwana for the great service!
The food at this restaurant is fantastic. Our group loved both the food and the atmosphere. The service was top-notch as well. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with kindness. The restaurant has a nice layout, with the main dining area separate from the bar area, but still in the same open space. The cotton candy with a sparkler for birthdays is a nice touch.
I dined at Emeril's restaurant and enjoyed the good food and drinks. I started with the yellow fin tuna appetizer and found it to be delicious. However, I was not a fan of the seafood dip and fried crackers, as I was expecting a cheesy dip instead. The steak was perfectly tender and the shots were smooth. I also tried the fried turkey neck appetizer, which was full of flavor and something I would order again. The only disappointment was the cotton candy, which was not as sweet as I had hoped. Despite this, the presentation was impressive and the vibe of the restaurant was cool with good music. Overall, I had a great night.
The food was delicious, but the delivery was missing. we ordered chicken wings that arrived with the cobb salad. two of the other dishes were not hot and one barely warm. we waited a very long time between curses and seconds for drinks. After we finished, we waited another long time to get a dessert menu. to our server credit, he had a big party at the same time as we. but for two people, when spending over $200.00on dinner, I would expect significantly better service. sad, I would not choose to dinate here again on the basis of the overall experience.
Our server was incredible! I think eating was a little overpriced, but overall, my friends and I had the best time!
