I wouldn't recommend this restaurant unless you're willing to spend a lot of money. The prices are very high compared to the amount of food you get, which was quite disappointing. For $100, we received two entrees with just a few small bites, along with a beer and a cocktail. This doesn’t justify the cost; I felt it was quite overpriced. I’m fine with spending money if it feels worth it. It's clear that this restaurant caters to tourists looking for a unique experience. They offer live music, which is enjoyable, and the servers are fantastic. While they deliver on these aspects, they could definitely provide larger portions. We considered ordering appetizers, but that would have pushed our total to $150. Back in D.C., where I'm from, when you pay this kind of price, you typically get more than enough food and some drinks included.
I had a fantastic time enjoying the local dance and band performances! The shrimp was absolutely delicious, and the pecan pie with ice cream was delightful. It was a wonderfully entertaining experience!
The table service was pleasant, but unfortunately, our dinner arrived before the appetizer. The fried Cajun seafood platter had generous portions, though it was served on a cold, bland bed of French fries. At 6:30 PM, Cajun music started playing, which enhanced the overall experience nicely. On a positive note, the restrooms were spotless!
Great food and service! Wide variety of food on the menu. Prices were very reasonable. The music was fantastic and not too loud.
