So our Party of 9 was a shock to them. They did accommodate us, but the hostesses was frustrated and we waited longer then anticipated. Someone in our party was double charged for their bar tab. The server was a gem and was wonderful. The food.. mediocre. You can tell they serve pre-made or frozen food that was heated up instead of food made fresh by an actual cook. Stay away from this franchise debacle and go to a truly authentic NOLA restaurant.
Spinach and Artichoke dip was excellent! Crab cakes were wonderful and spicy. Chicken Alfredo very cheesy with Alfredo! Strawberry Lemonade drink was very good with fresh strawberries.
Made this reservation on open table and called the morning of to confirm. Person we spoke with told us it was no issue if we were a little late. She would have a table for us. Got to the restaurant and there was an extremely long line outside the building. Ask some people standing in line if they had reservations they said no. Told the host about our “reservation” and he said to go to the back of the line and wait. So we left as we did not have time to wait an hour+ to be seated. In summary, this restaurant should not be listed on Open Table since they clearly do not hold or use a reservation system.
Loved the combination plate—little of New Orleans in every bite of jambalaya, gumbo, red beans and rice.
This was one of the worst meals I have ever had in my life. It was our last meal of the trip and we had the best food all weekend. Picked this place to end the weekend on shrimp n grits. The shrimp was out of a bag Walmart bag, the grits were hard. Our server never came over for refills or to ask how the food was. It was super upsetting to end the weekend on that meal. Thankfully I stopped at a different place after to grab a light app so that wasn’t my last memory. The bill was over 150 with the tip, I wouldn’t spend that ever there.
