They are making good buck with what they charge for 45min of music. (Not that I could actually do any more in that room) No ac, no open widow, two small fans. All you feel is heat and smell combination of BO and stale air.
Tremendous experience. If you plan to go, upgrade and buy the front row seats. Intimate setting with great jazz. Can't miss!
Great vibe all around! Be warned there's no air conditioning at all only, and it's a really intimate setting. Tickets were purchased online. They have seating or standing options.
In all the years we have lived in New Orleans we have never been inside Preservation Hall. Today we were fortunate enough to walk by and found the door open. The delightful young lady let us in to look around and explained a lot of the history. This is really a great place, beautiful and historic. We will definitely return for a performance.
I love jazz and history. This place combine them. The birth place of jazz, worth visiting. They owners kept it as original as possible, including no mics.Be ready to stand for an hour, or sit on a solid bench.Book in advance online, tickets sold out fast.No videos or photos allowed during performance.
