Rosedale - New Orleans

Has a cute courtyard, eating was good, expect mosquitoes outside. I know it's new orleans, but sometimes people forget.

Great breakfast and brunch spot. Loved the cheddar grits. Nice ambience and service.

Spent the day with my friend Laurie and stopped by the restaurant for a quick snack. To my surprise, Ms Spicer was preparing food in the kitchen. We had the pleasure of talking to her and sharing a story with her. She was so kind and sweet and took a selfie with us. Our food was delicious and the staff was friendly. My first visit there and I’m looking forward to my next visit.

The atmosphere is great outside where we are. Tables with umbrellas for the sun. Gorgeous bushes blooming now. Great for photos. The service was excellent. Our waitress was so helpful. The food was out of this world. Great drink menu. One suggestion is to get a non-alcoholic beer. We ask everywhere for it. For people who don't drink. We had fish roux, beet salad, and honeydew wrapped with bacon as appetizers. We had the shrimp creole, duck Reuben sandwich, and BBQ shrimp for our entrees. The food was VERY delicious. Highly recommend to try this restaurant.

Wow! What a fabulous meal! Wonderful courteous service and amazing food! The cold beet salad was delicious and John had the bourbon chicken. The pecan pie finished in style! Highly recommend! My new favorite restaurant in New Orleans!
