It boasts plenty of natural light and fantastic views of a vibrant intersection, making it ideal for people-watching without being overwhelming. There’s free Wi-Fi, and the baristas are fantastic. The A/C is kept at a comfortable level, so you won’t freeze after a while. The food and drinks are high quality, and there is outdoor seating available. The restrooms are clean, and, best of all, they always play wonderful classical music that’s perfect for focusing!
I really enjoyed the Harry Potter atmosphere and the classic music playing in the background. The neighborhood feels safer compared to other areas just a few blocks away. The public Wi-Fi is a bit slow, but I appreciate having it, especially since the café I visited before this one had no Wi-Fi at all, despite its great space and delicious coffee. This place is known for its good coffee, but I wouldn't recommend the cappuccino—it tasted more like an Americano topped with a thick foam, and it was served at room temperature. It can be a bit chilly for those who are sensitive to temperatures, but I actually prefer it that way so I don't fall asleep. The second floor is quieter than the first, making it a great spot for people working or reading. I tried the pecan sweet potato muffin, which was okay, but I should have gone for the bagels since I realized they are more known for their savory dishes than sweet pastries.
I didn't order any food, but I did get a drink that I thought was sweet tea.
It’s worth going here just to see the building. Stunning former bank with soaring ceilings. I recommend sitting on the mezzanine for a great view.
Very cool space. Authentic bagel and lox. Delicious iced teas. Great servers!
