St James Cheese Company - New Orleans

We ordered the seven-item charcuterie tray, chocolate bark, olives, and pickled vegetables. When we placed our order, the staff asked how many meats and cheeses we wanted and if there were any specific cheeses we loved or disliked. The custom plates they prepared for us were fantastic! The cheese selection was impressive, and they also offer canned and refrigerated items, including cheese and cured meats. There's outdoor seating in a courtyard as well as some street-side seating, which feels a bit odd, but you can tell they are trying to accommodate the high demand. Definitely go, bring a friend, and make sure to return!

I visit this place almost every day. Il Mostro has truly captured my heart. The staff is consistently friendly, and if you're looking to purchase deli meats or cheeses, they are very knowledgeable and passionate about helping you choose the best options.

I've been going here since I was a kid, and it's been consistently amazing. From dining in to takeout, St. James is so reliable in service and food quality. Their Mini moo grilled cheese is by far the best grilled cheese I've ever had. Their five cheese sampler is also delicious, jam-packed with fruits and toppings to make a perfect picnic meal.

The food at this restaurant is incredible! My personal favorite is the charcuterie, where you can choose 3, 5, or 7 meats and cheeses to create a wonderful platter served with fresh bread. The sandwiches and salads are also fantastic. During my last visit, I treated myself to the cheesecake, and it was absolutely delightful!

It?s okay. Service was alright, polite. Ham and Brie sandwich was mediocre at best (as a lover of Brie cheese this particular Brie was not my favorite) and the baguette was disappointing. The indoor dinning adjacent to the shop smells like a barnyard. This is not an exaggeration. Reminds me of a veterinarian?s office. Really off putting scent when you?re trying to eat your sandwich. Anyway, it?s alright.
