Feedback gevenFirst, during check-in, the staff had a noticeable attitude. When we arrived and requested to check in early, they informed us of an additional charge for that, something we were already aware of. However, it was their tone that conveyed unprofessionalism rather than the information itself. They also told us that housekeeping would not be cleaning our room during our stay unless we called to request anything we needed—this was not mentioned on the website. Next, when we got to our room, we found that the bathroom faucet was leaking. I reported the issue and took a nap, but when I woke up two hours later and asked my husband if someone had come to fix it, he said no. On my way to the casino, I stopped by the front desk to report the problem again. The woman at the desk simply stared at me without saying a word. I explained the situation and asked her to create a new service ticket or see if another room was available. She began typing on her computer and informed me that a ticket had already been created. I urged her to follow up or submit another ticket. She looked at me as if I were bothering her and started typing again, then abruptly stopped typing and just stared at me in silence. I finally asked if that was all, to which she replied, “Yes.” Moreover, my husband requested an extra blanket, and we waited for someone to bring it to us. But as we were leaving the property, we decided to stop by the front desk to ask if someone could drop off a couple of blankets. The woman there responded with an attitude that they wouldn’t leave more than one blanket. I clarified that “a couple” simply meant two, and she begrudgingly agreed. There are more negative experiences I could share about this being our first and last stay, but overall, we are very disappointed with this Harrah's location. I did not expect this kind of behavior from the staff. Additionally, I noticed the absence of managers and that the property lacked sufficient security.
We stayed at Harrah's Hotel for 6 nights. We actually almost cancelled due to recent reviews that we read, but so glad that we didn't. It was a great stay in a big spacious room with a beautiful city view. I would give it a 4.5 if that were possible. The room was well appointed with a big soaking tub in the bathroom. There was a frig and coffee maker. While it is true that there is no daily housekeeping, you can get any needed towels or toiletries delivered to your room. The staff was exceedingly nice and the common areas of the hotel were clean and beautiful. Our room upon arrival was clean and nicely decorated. If you took a magnifying glass, yes, some of the decor is in need of a slight touch up, but nothing like what some reviews have said. Also, it is very easy to get to the casino from the hotel. The one thing lacking is available quick eats for a full breakfast directly in the hotel, but there are restaurants within a block or two and we also used grubhub. There is a little coffee bar near the lobby and a Starbucks in the casino. We would definitely stay here again. Take the bad reviews with a grain of salt and give it a try. It's a perfect location to all that the French Quarter and surrounding areas have to offer, plus there is the casino which was a nice way to spend some time.

We were checking out at 8am to beat traffic and the safe in the room would not open. Mechanical issue not a code issue. Waited over 3 hours for the safe door to be cut off. Asked the manger for some compensation and she waved 1 of the 2 nights parking fee. Seemed like a very little assistance for a very expensive stay. Stayed 2 nights (Friday and Saturday) a little expensive with nothing to offer but a room. Location is great. Baggage drop off and valet parking area congested and difficult to get in and out. I've been a Harrah's member for over 15 years and this is the 1st bad review.
This place is extremely dirty—check out the photos. There are stains all over the carpet, dirt and hair in the fridge, grime in the bathtub, and debris and mud outside the door. I can't comprehend how they justify charging this much for such a filthy room.
