We discovered this hidden gem while looking for a restaurant in New Orleans for Thanksgiving, and it exceeded our expectations! The fixed menu featured heavenly options, from the delightful oyster and eggplant soup to the classic Thanksgiving dishes, and the delicious sweet potato bread pudding with praline sauce. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the place was bustling with patrons! While it may not be a true hidden gem, it's definitely a gem in its own right.

The restaurant is lovely, with a more relaxed atmosphere in the courtyard compared to the elegant interior dining space. It would make a great spot for an anniversary dinner. The food was delicious but quite rich; it would benefit from adding more vegetables as a side to create a better balance.

I'm so glad I decided to try this restaurant while visiting New Orleans. Given its long-standing reputation, I knew it would be a great choice, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but the standout dishes for me were definitely the shrimp and grits, as well as the bread pudding. The grits were soft and fluffy, reminiscent of velvety mashed potatoes. The shrimp was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was absolutely divine, with just the right amount of sweetness that enhanced the whole dish.

Fast and friendly service. We got bread pudding, pork belly, butter garlic noodles, and crab cakes. Most of the food was pretty good. However, the butter noodles needed salt and could have been mixed more. Most of the sauce was clumped on top.

Just ate with GIL as our server and everything from the food to the service and even the atmosphere in the new location was top notch! Service- Huge shout out to Gil (from on NOLA upscale/fine dining server to another) as he was friendly, attentive with out over being over bearing, and knowledgeable.
