Polpetta - New Plymouth

(Please note that this review is based on the food)<br/ <br/ I found out a buddy of mine started working there so this sparked my interest of this place. I really like the simplicity of this concept. Choose your meatball, then sauce and on what. <br/ <br/ This really caters for everyone which I really like. I ordered the veal, cranberry meatballs with tomato sauce with Agria mash. Everything worked well and I really enjoyed. I thought that 3 meatballs would not be enough to fuel a gym junkie but man was I wrong. <br/ <br/ The price is fair and I can't wait to go dine in and be served.

This place is great! New Plymouth just keeps getting better and better! I had the mac n cheese with pesto and one lamb meatball! Cheese lovers will absolutely LOVE the mac n cheese base. It is quite a rich sauce, so I think I will balance it next time with a tomato based sauce instead of pesto (even though that is delicious!!! . <br/ <br/ The alcoholic sorbet spider is awesome. Super sweet, but I was happy to indulge as we were celebrating!<br/ <br/ I cannot wait to come back!

Offers good vegan options and provides satisfactory service. While my companions enjoyed their flavorful meals, my dish fell short on taste. A hit-or-miss experience, but worth a revisit for a potentially better flavor profile.

The food was really good! Vegan meatballs were very tasty and other vegan friendly options were available as well. Staff was very friendly. Be mindful that the wait time is a bit long, we waited for about an hour, but food was worth it!

5 stars for us. The best meatball place. Chef’s choice was great. Service was good. Definitely recommended and coming back again next time!
