Szechuan Delight Chinese

I don't care about the service, what matters to me is the food. This restaurant has incredible dishes.

The service and food at this restaurant were terrible. I am perplexed as to why they have a special menu exclusively for Chinese-speaking customers. It seems suspicious that all the glowing reviews and photos are possibly from the restaurant itself. The staff here are incredibly rude, perhaps only showing kindness to Chinese-speaking patrons. Additionally, I got severe food poisoning from eating undercooked mushrooms and experienced diarrhea. I strongly advise against eating here.

5/26/24 Came in to pick up my order around 5:15pm. The man at the cashier desk never said hi. He was helping another gentleman prior to me. A hefty lady very rudely asked me for my order then banged it onto the cashier table then left. I waited until the cashier was done with the customer prior to me. Afterwards, the cashier helped the Uber Eats driver that came after me. He never acknowledged my presence. I just stood waiting then he walked away and asked the people at a table if all was good, then started cleaning a table off. I left of course.No idea why I was completely ignored. I was polite to the lady that asked me what my order was. I’ve ordered here for years. I’ve never seen this couple before and normally greeted and treated very nicely by the usual people. Will never be back.

Came in for a quick takeout for lunch. There was no one at the counter. The dining room waiter ignored me until I asked him for help. Food was ready quickly, but sat on the counter for 10 minutes while the waiter ignored me, another customer waiting to pay, and two customers ready to order.To add insult to injury … the takeout containers, both soup and lunch, leaked profusely, soaked the brown bag so badly i had no way of bringing food into the office. Chucked it into nearest garbage can.

Arrived for pickup as requested 45 minutes after placing the order. Waited another 45 minutes for the order (totaling an hour and a half) to be finally ready. Impolite, no reasons provided, discourteous (not even some tea offered while waiting). Restaurant was virtually empty both upon arrival and while waiting (two small groups sat at tables toward the end) — never a good sign to visit an empty restaurant during regular hours…!!Lastly, the food was bland, virtually without taste, spicing, or flavor. This faux, Chinese-style food and service should absolutely be avoided. It's a waste of time, energy, and appetite.
