Le Francis - New Richmond

I usually don't enjoy dining at hotel restaurants, but I was pleasantly surprised by Le Bayou. The service was great, even though it was our waitress's first night on the job. We had a great experience.

Just make sure to verify their opening hours as they may be open at odd times. The address led me to a neighborhood across the street with Apple Maps. Double check their location.

Do not stay at this restaurant during a snowmobile ride. We had booked a package with the hotel, including dinner and breakfast that should have been sold in advance. However, upon arrival, we were informed that they did not offer the package and the restaurant was closed. In reality, the restaurant was not closed but had been booked for a private party, leaving us unable to enjoy the services we had planned for. The receptionist was unapologetic, ignorant, and argumentative. Despite our clear communication of the agreed price and package content, they showed no concern. There are plenty of other places to stay during a snowmobile ride, so it is best to avoid this place in the future.

The hotel is well placed on the outskirts of the new richmonde in a enchanting setting with a small river behind (small cascapédia.) very quiet outside of the moment when the hotel is frequented by snowmobile groups that arrive in the evening and they leave in the morning and some do not pay attention what can make a lot of noise. However, some rooms are not at the value of the requested price.

I loved it, it's clean and the beds are comfortable. and pillows are like little clouds.
