The Local Pearl Oyster Shoppe

Nice place with great food and a great relaxing atmosphere. The menu is interesting with great takes on classics like fish tacos, lobster rolls, seafood bowls. Their daily specials are even more interesting and have you wanting one of each. And of course a nice selection of oysters! They are very accommodating to any dietary and or allergy and will explain the menu and dishes and ensure it suits your needs. I tarted out with lobster and corn hushpuppies on hot honey with an orange and roasted rosemary butter. It was and excellent combo. I had the ahi tuna burger....without the brioche bun, and it was really delicious. I was expecting a tuna steak of sort, but it was just like burger meat....I was skeptical at first, but ate everly last bit. Service was excellent. I will definitely return when back in town.

Amazing food, casual atmosphere and good wine! Small and simple and here I am back again two days in a row!!!!

Went in on a Saturday evening and although it was pretty busy, we were able to be seated quickly. Service was attentive, but not intrusive. Good wine/beer options. Ordered the lobster hush puppies for an appetizer. They were delicious, especially with the accompanying honey butter. Tuna 'burger ' was my entree and it was also quite tasty. We just missed happy hour, so we plan to go back and try the oysters.

Amazing food!! Everything we tried the oysters, the Ahi Burger and the Fish tacos was just downright amazing! From the plating to the sides to the main dish everything is so well curated, it's like a piece of art that you get to eat! Really glad we decided to go. It's a nice little place with classy, minimalist interior. You may end up waiting for a little bit once it gets busy, as it's not very big inside so not too many tables fit in but it's very inviting. The service was really good and most of the seafood is sourced locally. Most definitely worth a try, especially if you love seafood and oysters! My husband and I have already picked out what we're going to order when we go there next!

This is a great place to eat oysters, clams, mussels, shrimp, even the cheese board was phenomenal. They try to use local ingredients wherever possible. We tried a variety of dishes and they were all fantastic. Great service too. It is a small venue with BIG heart. Will be back.
