Yesterday I went with my friend to the “Amelia Café” at 6th Street in uptown New Westminster. It caught our eyes because of a sign saying “Breakfast Special All Day … $5.95”. My friend ordered that special breakfast while I requested a Deluxe Burger with bacon, fried onions, tomatoes and fries. The burger was quite good. The patty appeared to be homemade. The fries were also tasty. I didn’t lie the sausages in my friend’s breakfast – they were simply far too soft. The pan-fried potatoes were prepared well – just a bit bland; but one could season it with salt and pepper at one’s taste.Of course, it was not so exceptional, but for that price the meal was better than other restaurants offer for twice the price.3.5 out of 5
Four seniors enjoyed Brunch Saturday, March 19. . . Arrived 11:20 am and were done & back in the car before Noon! Servings are generous, but the quality is nothing to brag about. With So Many similar small cafe's in the area, we probably won't go back. . . .
So, this place is fairly consistently good food, low prices. Really nice staff. If is a regular breakfast stop for me.
