New York Fries - New Westminster

While visiting Richmond Center, we were in the mood for some fast food and decided to order from this restaurant in the food court. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious fries and hot dogs.

The hotdogs, fries, and veggie fries at this restaurant are amazing! It's a great spot to grab a quick meal. Definitely worth a visit. Absolutely fantastic.

I couldn't leave Canada without trying Poutine, so I stopped by NYF in the food court of the Pacific Centre Mall. I ordered a small regular Poutine, which was simple but delicious - perfectly cooked fries, flavorful warm gravy, and a generous scoop of curds in the center. The small size was surprisingly filling and the meal was affordable without any fancy decorations.

I'm not sure if this is the location in the food court of Pacific Centre mall, but the one in the mall is the one I am reviewing. My husband, our son, and I have tried poutine in Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City, Seattle, and Vancouver BC. My son is a big fan and expert of the dish, while I just enjoy it. However, all three of us agree that this NY Fries is one of the best we've had! Surprisingly, in a food court. The key, in my opinion, is the delicious fries and the perfect balance of gravy and cheese - not too much gravy and lots of cheese curds. Overall, they have nailed it and even I can't resist indulging in it.

My children were craving New York fries smothered in cheese and paired with soda. I opted for regular fries, which were deliciously crispy and not greasy.
