Feedback gevenJust celebrated my DILs birthday. I can say we will definitely be back and will recommend this place to everyone! First the service was wonderful! Attentive but not unbearably so. Not by just our server but every single person we spoke with. From our appetizers and drinks down to dessert, everyone in our party of four loved their food. Including my son who ordered blue steak. He is hard to please when he orders this as other places never seem to cook it right. He said it was the very best he has ever had! They even gave us a glass each of moscato to go with dessert! I cannot recommend this place enough and we can’t wait to go back again! Thank you for a fantastic experience!!
Loved loved loved our dining experience today! Each dish was well thought out and tasted wonderful! Enjoyed fine dining so close to our home with a separate vegan menu! Portion sizes were perfect! The gnocchi was fluffy and delicious with the lightly lemoned grilled veg. Our Focaccia tasted slightly off but our server was happy to replace it! Our 1 year old daughter was so happy with each dish but was over the moon with eggplant appetizer! Can’t wait to try more of the menu! Hoping for more dessert options in the future. Thank you for the perfect vegan Italian fine dining experience.
Garth and I went to Piva last night (January 21, 2018) for my birthday dinner and we highly recommend it! We were greeted and seated right after we took a walk by the 'open ' kitchen to say hello to the Executive Chef, Sube Abdullah. You must try one or more of their unique and delicious cocktails. Btw...they know how to make a very dry Tanqueray Martini; just the way I like it! They also have a nice wine list and I love the support of BC wines (including Kamloops wines). Have I said I love BC wines? Well, I do! Yes, I ordered a bottle. As for the food, well, it was superb. For starters we had the Meatballs (wild boar) and Arancini (risotto balls), we shared a Caesar Salad, Crispy cauliflower parmigiano and Brussel Sprouts pancetta. Garth had the Linguine and I had the Gnocchi. For dessert we had the Chocolate Cake and the Tiramisu Sundae. What a night! Our server Casey was awesome as well as the gentleman that came to our table a few times. I could see he greeted and checked on many throughout the night. Nice personal touch indeed. We love the decor and layout of Piva. So open and fresh. We cannot wait to go back and try a few other dishes and drinks. I can also see that this will be the place to go during the summer.
Had dinner at Piva last night for the first time. The manager on duty was so welcoming, gave us hugs after a little joke I made when we entered. Alex B our server was phenomenal. As vegetarians we were very happy with the selection of actually thought out veggie dishes. Perfect portion sizes, super fast kitchen great atmosphere. We will definitely be back.
Loved it, nice section of dishes to choose from. Had crab cakes to start, Great homemade gluten free pasta which was a treat. the sortba was just perfect for desert. Time flew by, the staff, food, and the buzzing was electric. Plan on going back again. I felt like I was in a totally different City like New York where you really didn't know who would walk in and just blend in. Very new and fresh. Cant wait to go back again and try something else.
