American Whiskey Tribeca - New York

This was our final food destination in NYC. It was everything. I absolutely loved the ambiance and the location. Parking was tough, but that 's the city for you. Once inside, the staff was great and food prep was quick. I enjoyed the bananas foster waffle. So very tasty with the perfect sauce to compliment. I had a cocktail from the bar that I didn 't enjoy much. Can 't remember the name of it, but when I couldn 't put my finger on the strange taste it had, I started looking on Google. Cholula is a name that I was not familiar with before my visit to Distilled and one I will never forget it- or the taste. The cocktail I ordered actually contained Cholula! IMO hot sauce or pepper sauce belongs on FOOD. Not in a drink! It was pretty bad.., needless to say I sent it back. Still not judging Distilled based on my failure to identify unknown cocktail ingredients. Lesson learned! I would definitely return for the food.

Came here with co workers to have some drinks and things went pretty smoothly considering it was a last second ask for a party of about 10 or so people. The staff was very accommodating and attentive. All we ordered were drinks, a bunch of cocktails, which were all great! Some of the drinks were very creative and tasted great as well! Although it was loud in there, not so loud where we have to be yelling over each other to listen to each other (though whispering might not work either). Overall, it had a great ambient vibe where people seem to come and relax after work. If you want to grab some drinks and have a good time, check this out.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Saturday meal on the outdoor deck, taking in the vibrant sights and sounds of Manhattan. The brunch menu offered a fantastic variety of options, along with some unique specialty drinks. Our favorites were the Eggs Florentine, BBQ wings, and chicken and waffles. The staff was friendly, and the interior is spacious and airy. This is definitely a great place to visit!

This restaurant was fantastic! Located in Tribeca, it's the ideal spot for a Sunday brunch. I discovered it on Yelp, and it definitely lived up to my expectations. The food was delicious, and the drinks were equally impressive. The ambiance had a classic Tribeca vibe, combining modern and rustic loft elements. With subway tiles, glass features, and wooden accents, it created a warm and inviting space. I loved the "I Love NY" mugs, and the mimosa was also a highlight! There’s street parking available, but it’s much more convenient to take an Uber, walk, or hop on the subway. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided great suggestions for food and drink. If you're in New York and nearby, you won’t want to miss this place!

I visited for brunch with a large group, and I found it a bit puzzling that our reservation required a credit card hold, especially since the restaurant didn't seem busy at the time. Our initial waitress, Rose, was wonderful - also five stars! She checked on us frequently, was attentive without being intrusive, and offered great drink recommendations. However, the second waitress, Kori, had a different approach. She seemed to project a bit of attitude and didn’t check on us during our meal. She also neglected to ensure our order was correct, and when it came time to pay, she was less than pleasant about our credit cards. Since she had added a mandatory 20% gratuity to our bill, it felt like she assumed our table didn’t need proper service. I truly believe that if the tip hadn’t been included, our service would have been much more attentive. A big shoutout to Manager Marcus, who deserves five stars for his efforts. He genuinely tried to address our concerns with kindness and hospitality throughout our visit. We appreciate him accommodating our group and going above and beyond. Overall, we enjoyed our meals, especially the chicken and waffles, which seemed to be the highlight of the table. However, I would suggest improving the presentation – hot food should come on hot plates, and syrup should be served warm, not cold. It’s also important to ensure that the chicken is fully cooked. Lastly, it would be helpful to update your website, as the menus and offerings listed are outdated. The open kitchen setup was a nice touch, but when we were waiting for our food, it was concerning that our waitress was nowhere to be found. I would recommend Distilled to others because of its great location, and I hope the staff can iron out these issues. Wishing you all the best for improved success in the future!
