Food was really nice and tasty especially the smaller bites to try things out. The staff was friendly and tried its best, but there was a bigger delay, we had to reorder and remind them, the type of coffe got mixed up quite a few times. Recommendations for group and if you have time. Worth a visit, also for the food, just not expect the perfect service.
Only NYC 's lower east side can birth this gem- the perfect combination of grit and glamour. Too bad I 'm slightly aged-out of what I imagine to be the target demographic- young, cool, trendsetter. I enjoyed it and will definitely return when I need to impress out-of-towners with a NY vibe .
I am the type that loves to take pictures, it was my sister's birthday, so I was taking pictures of her. The security walked up to me and told me I couldn't because they had epileptic staff on the floor and the flash could trigger them. Now I respect people's differences, but this was very weird to me, especially seeing the restaurant setting was dark, and this is NYC there are flashing lights all over this city, surely my flash from my phone wouldn't cause someone to have a seizure. The Thai style shrimp was good, I had the branzino fish for dinner which was good. My sister had the scallops which seemed more like an appetizer she left feeling hungry but said it was good. My mom had the mushrooms, she said the noodles was cold, and they only gave 1 mushroom with it. I don't think this is a restaurant I'll rush to revisit.
Foood was great, we waiting too long for our table with reservations… over 30 mins. Menus are dirty
Nice food in weird, tacky surroundings. If you like new American kitsch (both the food and the surrounds), you’ll probably like it.
