Bell Book & Candle - New York

I tried this place for the first time and totally loved the food! Especially their burrata, patty melt were amazing. Came in around 5:30 on Saturday, right when they open but it was pretty quiet. Maybe because it was right after thanksgiving. Their Christmas ornament was super and loved the atmosphere. I will def come back before the season ends:

Well here we have our perfect posh, ?Locals? spot , dark, entertaining, privately owned by a man that immigrated to America decades ago and worked hard to fulfill his own American dream! And THE FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR!! without a doubt you?ll find yourself a regular there at BBC because the menu rotates regularly , the cocktails are fab , the prices are reasonable, the happy hour is top, the staff are attractive and cool people. Need I say more ? FIVE STARS ?? FORBBC . Good job folks , you nailed it.

Hate to give this spot away but have to comment on how good it was. Drinks were excellent...thanks to Drew!!! The oysters were fresh and delicious. Great intimate feel in the bar area with a spacious dining area as well. Serving staff were super attentive and very pleasant (thank you ladies) all in all....10 out of 10!!!

I came here for my birthday with some friends. We were a larger party so we were seated at the chef's table in the back. The atmosphere was wonderful and being so close to the kitchen was great. I ordered a rare filet and it came out cooked to perfection and was just the right amount of food. Definitely would come back again.

This was my 3rd time dining at this cozy West Village establishment, and each time I can hardly gush enough about how delightful a visit to BB C is! The front bar area is cute as you first walk in, but the place is actually bigger than it looks ? with a couple of comfortable adjacent dining rooms tucked away to the side (almost like a speakeasy feel). Imaginative and tasty cocktails, delicious apps and entrees, and the overall vibe is amazing. I've come here with groups of 3to 10 people, and each time we've been treated as honored guests. Bell Book Candle is a real gem, well worth checking out.
