Bierstrasse - New York

It is hard to recommend a restaurant that continues to take reservations on opentable and is listed as open on google when it actually closed. Maybe they want to check this!

I liked Bierstrasse for what it is casual atmosphere, good selection of beer, good comfort food, and great music. Our group went there because we heard the band was good and they didn't disappoint. The band was called Uptown Royalty NYC. I was a little unsure if there was going to be music, other than by word of mouth because their website was under construction. I called and left a message, but no one called me back. I thought they would since I had reservations for 6 people. When we got to Bierstrasse I asked the person who sat us if there'd be music and she said music was only on Sundays. It was Friday night. About 10 minutes later we saw the band set up. : Perhaps management wasn't the most organized that evening. Service was pretty slow and it wasn't packed. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a casual night out. The pretzel was great and so was the burger and Kielbasa.

No need to RSVP. We had a table but as soon as we got there we were told to find a table by ourselves. The location and the place itself is amazing and the staff is very kind... definitely worth visiting just don’t bother RSVP-ing.

Great spot to catch up with friends over a beer without the loud obnoxious crowd of people if you're looking for a quiet place to just vibe off of in conversation. They have a live band that performs later in the evening and it's still a nice, mellow vibe. It doesn't take away from its ambiance. Great spot and beer!

This establishment allowed me to make a reservation and even confirmed it days in advance. However, when I arrived for my reservation, the restaurant was closed and did not answer the phone. I received no update regarding my reservation and no explanation for the mistake.
