Blaue Gans - New York

It was a sad celebration, they close after several years, they lick geniouses!

Unfortunately it is closed on Saturday. it is a loss to duane street, tribeca and fans of Austrian comfort eating.

Eating was really good! the pulpits were freshly baked and the foods were all delicious. especially we enjoyed the saltburger knockel! this desert is usually found only in salburg, Austria and it was delicious!

Love everything about blaue gans except for the music. They always play contemporary pop and it just really doesn’t work with the ambience/vibe.

Excellent food. Fun, funky ambiance. Excellent, warm, friendly service. Overall very enjoyable experience.
