Cafe Clover - New York

This restaurant is closed. I went here after my reservation was confirmed, and unfortunately someone told me that the business was closed:

Eating and service with were exceptional, while pandemic I do not think I got the full taste of the atmosphere, but we really enjoyed it.

We reserved a table for Sunday brunch. the selection of food is not enough. I think it takes 2 more elements in this menu. but what we ordered was fantastic. the homemade rolling with butter was absolutely fantastic. the avocado toast with 2 benedict eiern was surprisingly very fillable and the cocktails were exactly what we needed. Thank you.

What a bummer off an experience. Food was TERRIBLE and so expensive. order the squash gnocchi. It came with very small portion and the gnocchi was so rubbery. and absent of flavor. the broccoli side was bland and missing salt and maybe something to make it interesting. My friends curried salmon was bland and served with a heaping pile of coleslaw!??? the waiter was mostly absent. I know covid has really shaken up the dining experience -but please don't forget to make good food and be hospitable to your patrons! We spent a lot of money for a fun dining experience and got nothing. will never go here again.

Cafe Clover has had consistently good food and attentive service. I've always had a good experience there, and their dining terrace during the pandemic is probably one of the most spacious outdoor dining areas in Manhattan: a real bonus!
