Feedback gevenThis upper east side neighborhood restaurant is stylish, smart and contemporary. The staff is smartly attired. But this place is not just about style. The food is excellent. The service is excellent. This is dining at its finest. We loved the Bronzino, the Mediterranean sea bass. It was prepared expertly in sea salt. Our only complaint and it is a very small one is that the steamed vegetables that accompanied the Bronzino did not do justice to the fish. The fish was a real treat. The Tiramisu was to die for. The wine and drinks were all perfect. It is rare when everything in the restaurant borders on perfection. There are no bad tables in the dining room but you need a reservation.
Our dining experience at Caravaggio was phenomenal. My mom and I popped by after an afternoon of shopping and were instantly transported to Italy. The service was wonderful Dino was very professional, courteous and kind and the food was superb! Wewill be returning again soon. Class all the way!
Best creative Italian experience in the city. Amazing appetizers, Burrata, melon, prosciutto. Creamy, sweet, not too salty. White apparagus with a fried egg. Veal with sauteed onions and balsamic and pasta choices to die for. Creamiest cheese cake. Gohere. Expensive but worth it.
The food is good overall, but I didn?t like the dish squid ink fettuccine with broccoli rabe. Somehow it was very bitter and not edible to me, although the waiter explained that?s how it was supposed to be. Being a big gourmand, I?m doubtful on that. Highlyrecommend linguine a la vongole.
The food was quite good : the service was amazing. The interior was cute love the walls. It has fancy tablecloth seating and the crowd was quite on the older side so not really a young person?s vibe, but was good nonetheless.
