Champignon - New York

I dined at Champignon for the first time, and had a wonderful lunch. The space is nice and no frills feels like a classic neighborhood joint with no pretension. I had the beet salad, the homemade veggie burger with mashed potatoes, and the chocolate pyramid for dessert. Everything was delicious. The service was outstanding and the prices most reasonable. A great option in Chelsea for lunch, brunch or dinner.

Evening manager almost ruined the evening by his reluctance to split the bill 3 ways. He had to be persuaded with a threat to report him. The rest of the staff is wonderful. He makes me give a lower grade to our experience.

Really good atmosphere very attentive service. I got to say the food was good: Sthefany was very nice girl and gives good customer service.

I've eaten at Le Champignon several times now, for brunch and dinner, and will continue to do so. Located very near the 23rd St. #1 stop, it is a highly convenient place to meet friends and enjoy coffee and dessert, a drink, or a full meal. A truly worthwhile neighborhood spot with upbeat, attentive (but not fawning) service. Don't hesitate.

Everyone here is so nice and the food is 10/10! Very comfortable and awesome vibes.
