Ck14 The Crooked Knife At 14th Street

This is a very nice restaurant with excellent lighting over the tables. The service was fantastic. Unlimited mimosas and Bloody Marys? Yes, please! My omelet was a bit overcooked, which wasn't ideal. However, the fried mac and cheese was amazing, although it was a small appetizer and not quite the portion the menu suggests. The Bloody Marys could use some garnishes—what's a Bloody Mary without a little something on the side? Aside from these minor issues, this is a lovely and fun spot for a leisurely Sunday brunch.

I have a last minute late dinner reservation that was good. all the reviews were about the brunch, but we went to dinner there. next time, I'd be drinking and holding the appetizers. they were better than the main courts we ordered. loved the fig toast and the butternut squashe supp (yum for both! . we had a special short nativity pot cake and the subtitle hamburger. That wasn't great. I loved my drink (a muddelter erdbeer wodka prosseco cocktail.) my man liked that she blue point toasted camp (his favorit.) there were other appetizers I would rather have than the main meal. I would go back. the ambiente was very cool!

Excellent value. general portions delicious food very well presented. they cannot be turned off from the rod in the front tables in the back, are quiet.

The noise level was quite an issue. While the service was polite and the food delicious, there were a couple of things that could use some improvement, especially with the all-you-can-drink offer. For starters, the timer should begin once a server actually arrives to take your order, which took almost 20 minutes for us. Additionally, regular check-ins would help keep the drinks filled, as we spent a lot of time with empty glasses. I understand that large groups can make it challenging to keep up, but only having three drinks over the course of three hours felt lacking. And did I mention how loud it was?

The atmosphere is fantastic. We visited for Sunday brunch, and they offer a boozy brunch with unlimited mimosas for two hours, which was a nice touch. We enjoyed sitting outside, which was pleasant. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The service was also excellent; there was a manager who made sure to check on everyone. However, they kept increasing the volume of the music, so we had to request that they turn it down a couple of times since we were seated right next to a speaker.
