A gem of an Italian restaurant right in Harlem. With personal attention from the proprietor, delicious food in a lovely but casual setting, your evening will be complete!
The place doesn 't look like much from the outside. I went because the reviews were very positive and I have to agree. From the moment we entered until we left, the owner I missed his name) was our host, server and entertainer. Great guy! The food was simple Southern Italian from the Adriatic coast) and very fresh. If you are looking for a wow experience where the food is the wow reason and not the decor, then this place should be on your list of places to go. I will be back for sure.
The simplest but most flavorful food and very warm and pleasant owner and environment. Mildly rustic interior but I adored everything including the smell of the restaurant when I walked in, the delicious food, the outstanding wine collection, the great music selection, the very clean and nice smelling bathroom at 9 pm, etc. And ironically, I chatted with ppl at another table it was their first time too and we all agreed we were stunned and would be back soon. I LOVED EVERYTHING!!! (I had a glass of Chianti with Spaghetti Carbonara and my friend had a red with the Linguini and Sausage and we both loved everything).
The owner and the chef are amazing. I am at awe with the respect and charisma of the owner, his staff and the chef. Elvis S.
