El Cartel Tapas Bar Restaurant

Enjoy always a good meal in the el cartel. good energy and great selection of food, fresh, creativity and presentation! the arepitas w chicharrón are a must (they can do a vegan option; I tried w guac wow! and the empanadas too. tried the pollo buenaventura tonight and loved it! seafood over a chicken breast. delicious!

I wanted to enjoy this place so badly. I had a reservation for 3 to 7 o'clock. we arrived earlier than expected and went inside to see if we could sit earlier. there was no host podium so we just went back until we found a server/host. they said that our table would be cleaned so that we could either sit on the bar or wait on the door. we chose a fast round at the bar. after a few minutes our table was ready and we were sitting. we sat at 6:45/6:50 clock and saw that happy hour ended at 7. we have our order under the wire for a happy hour. our Margarita pitcher came in order, but our eating took an hour. it just came out after we asked the server what was waiting for 40 minutes. it should be noticed during this period after the Margarita pitcher has been transferred, the server has not checked for us until we have knocked it down. they have compelled us a round margaritas and an entire escape. we took care of the delays in us to screw up the system or a glitter, because it was phenomenal. how, really delicious. the last annoying was however added a great party fee to our ticket. we were 3 people and had a 20% big party fee. 3 is not a great party through any stretch of imagination. I'm insecure when I come back, but it was good to eat.

Another fabulous meal. with friends who are vegan and they also enjoyed! arepas with guac were delicious. vegan meatballs remain excellent, like the tostones rellenos with spinach/cale. vegan burger also great. beef always great, like beef emanadas! beautiful time w good friends, good eating and a fun mood!

Since the doors are open, they have come. great addition to the kitchen kitchen of the hell. always clean and with a funny mood. Eating options are on point and even vegan-friendly options (which is not common in a Latin American restaurant). love the empanadas, the arepas and some of the entreen. steak is great; arroz con pollo superb and the fried red snapper always made perfect. the best tostones (fried curtains) and fantastic rice beans. be happy with all our options. big bar and weep too. thanks for another nice evening.

The drinks and food were delicious, the presentation was beautiful. The music is great we really loved the decor and ambiance. The customer service was excellent and we’re already planning our return!
