Hands down best Cuban sandwich in the heights, for me...

We went there after a concert. The food was already prepared, but it tasted fresh and delicious. Thank goodness because we had a long drive home. The server was very pleasant. It was our first Dominican dining experience. The vibe was very cool, and they have a bar in the back of the restaurant.

I eat from here all the time because the food is awesome and authentic. My only problem is that when I order breakfast like Mangu con Los 3 golpes, (Door Dash) they always forget to include the onions... I mean, come on... What Dominican has Los 3 golpes sin cebollas...? I'm not Dominican and even I know that's a fact... So, if you're a person who likes to Door Dash be prepared to sautee your own onions because there is not even an option in the app to even ask for onions.

I'd leave 0 stars if possible. We made a large catering order for 50 people and spent $870.00. The food was tasteless and looked absolutely terrible. All at the party left the food on their plate (the people who even touched the food) and most of the dishes went untouched. Cuban sandwiches were made with large and thick pieces of dry meat. Calamari was big thick and soggy and chew without taste at all. The Plantains were very dry and had no ounce of salt. Everything was done HORRIBLE. That was our sons' first birthday party. We've never been so embarrassed with a family gathering EVER. We called the restaurant to explain, and they apologized and promised a call back after talking to the owner and we never received a call. Would never come to this place again. Waste almost $900.

The food was delicious. Came from a concert next to the United Palace. My date was looking for a good place to eat after 11:00. That's it! In fact, all Floridita restaurants I was, they always have great food and good service.
