Had an amazing dinner here last week. Service was extraordinary, and we had a wonderful view of the open kitchen! I ordered the pasta special, which was life-changing, and the porchetini was one of the best things me or my husband have ever eaten in our lives. It was hard to choose just one dessert, but the chocolate gateau ended up being a 10 out of 10. Dinner at Francie was truly a revelation.
We loved it! The atmosphere and service were excellent. The cocktails and food were wonderful. We enjoyed the Roman army sourdough, with the sunflower butter and lard. We also loved the bucatini, and of course, the duck, which was absolutely fabulous!
So pleasantly surprised with this experience! If you go. You have to try the duck dish.
Refinement in service is needed, as the rushed nature, coupled with the inadequate celebration despite inquiries about the occasion, indicates room for improvement at Francie. A more attentive and thoughtful approach to service would undoubtedly enhance the overall dining experience.
