Consistently phenomenal food, amazing happy hour, a chill and friendly staff who are knowledgeable about the menu and great at mixing fantastic drinks. An absolute Bushwick must! The El Presidente burrito is a personal favorite and their Guac Trio is always a great start.

The food here was pretty average at a normal price point. Nothing impressive, but also nothing worth “sending back” The birria tacos had a sauce that was very heavy on the pepper. It looked as though it had red #4 dye to give it its radioactive color. Eating these was so messy that it appeared I had assisted during a c-section The short rib was very flavorful and it was cooked very well. These tacos were just very messy for no reason The quesadilla uses a corn tortilla, as it is traditionally the correct kind to use instead of the flour one, but it came out as if it was an open sandwich. The meat was very salty. The grilled chicken salad was fine. The service gets 2 stars not for the quality of the overall experience, but because our server was pretentious and had a “I’m better than you” attitude. I asked one question, and I got a very snarky answer when a simple “yes” or “no” would’ve sufficed. The other members of the staff were very attentive and friendly but this guy was acting as if the world owed him favors. Wait time for food and drinks was normal for a Saturday evening, and the place could use some AC so that we don’t die of heat while waiting for the food.
