Grunauer Bistro - New York

A real find. Outstanding and authentic Austrian food at a reasonable price. Great ambiance and wonderful service made for an evening I intend to repeat again soon.

Authentic Viennese dishes featuring outstanding ingredients resulting in delicious flavours! Not to mention great service every time!

We were in this restaurant several times and every time, it is excellent. We always seem to get the same waiter, that's Stash. It is extremely knowledgeable about the way food is prepared, and also about all wines offered. I highly recommend this facility.

Our original plans for Saturday evening were cancelled, and we stumbled on Grunauer Bistro during the search for Open Table reviews. They were right! This restaurant is a real jewel authentic through and through, from food, to waiters, to ambience, what a leak! We ordered the Wienerschnitzel and the Sauerbraten both were excellent! Our waiter, Stanislav, was very well informed about the wine and beer list and made great suggestions. What a great find we will come back!

This restaurant is AMAZING! The food was great-tasting and beautifully presented; the ambience of Vienna. We come here once a year or so...we have to come more often; thanks to the staff for making this a wonderful meal and experience for us.
