La Casa D'la Pasta - New York

We made the reservation around 9 pm specifically to make sure that the restaurant would be open when we got there at 10:30. We received a confirmation. When we arrived, the restaurant was closed and dark. No one around. This was a Saturday night. We not only went out of our way to get to a closed restaurant, but also the whole point of using Open Table shows that the platform is useless. Getting a confirmation is meaningless.

Neighborhood gem in the making! Despite being short-staffed, we were served promptly and our party had a wonderful experience. From the extensive wine list to the delicious (if slightly over-seasoned) pastas, we were pleasantly surprised to find this cosy spot so close by.

Wonderful food and service, great wine list and nice variety in the menu without being overwhelming. Salads were great as were the pastas. Charming, warm atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!

The shop is closed for renovations and still allows reservations!

First time diner and first dinner in NYC with my family. Phenomenal Pasta dinner, Calamari, Burrata with prosciutto and shrimp with cannelloni beans. The meal was coupled with large rose' and white sangria. Must be for lunch or dinner. The service was on the spot. Come back when I visit family.
