My friends and I were walking past this pizza place around dinner time and it looked appetizing so we walked in for a few slices. They had a classic pac man game which I haven't seen in a while and some sitting area near the window if you wanted to dine in. The staff was nice but the food tasted worse than cardboard. I had the cheese and a mushroom pizza. They also had pineapple and various meat pizza. The mushrooms were also raw which wasn't good. Every dollar pizza has been much better than this place. I do not recommend. All of our stomachs hurt afterwards. Some pizzas didn't look fresh and looked like they were sitting out there for a VERY long time.
Took some notes while eating: this cheese funky Sauce has great flavor Pepperoni and basil is a good touch There’s a free Pac Man machine inside!Good pizza but I wasn’t feeling the cheese. Great low key and small space.
I’ve tried a dozen places and this was the best mix of that slight crunch of bottom crust and perfectly chewy mid crust. Love Bleecker St and Joes but this was even better.
The margherita is their best pizza. I personally don't go for the fancy options
Little Luzzo is right off the 6 train which nice and convenient. There are definitely better pizzerias around, but Luzzo is fine when you're hungry for a slice. I enjoyed the crust, perfectly crunchy exterior but the sauce lacked flavor. Definitely needed to sprinkle garlic powder, oregano, parmesan, and chili flakes. Cheap eat for on the go, 2 slices and a soda for $6.
